Exquisite and important pair of circa 1740 George II Anglo-Irish regency console or side tables in the manner of William Kent having original verde antico marble tops on original-finish giltwood bases with egg-and-dart moulding above Greek key frieze on scallop shell, acanthus, and bell-flower carved cabriole legs ending in hairy-paw feet. Note on condition: Their untouched originality is rare and remarkable; an exemplary and noteworthy pair of investment quality tables.
