This elegant desk and chair combination is dedicated to Ernest Hemingway, by high-end manufacturer Thomasville. The set features the use of premium materials in its high-quality construction. The desk has a very sturdy frame of solid mahogany, elevated by brass touches on the feet, stretcher bar and the sides. The top writing surface is mahogany and burlwood with practicality added through tooled leather writing surfaces. Also features a pull-out shelf on each side of the desk. Each pull-out shelf is 13.5 inches square.

The chair is a Ernest Hemingway model by Thomasville, a companion to the desk. Featuring campaign or safari style mahogany frame, garnished in brass accents and upholstered brown leather seat and backrests. It also has leather-wrapped arms for enhanced comfort. Raised on splayed legs with bar-stretcher supports.

Both the desk and chair have their original manufacturer labels to their undersides, and the desk has a brass label in the interior of the left drawer.

Condition: Very good vintage and original condition. The desk and chairs have very minor signs of light use. You will be very pleased with the quality of construction, handsome styling and overall good condition.

Desk measures: 29.75" H x 61.5" W x 31.5" D
Chair measures: 37.75" H x 24.5" W x 20" D
