A fine quality early 19th century (circa 1820) Regency mahogany drum or library table with fine, faded top and unusual carved base, possibly Irish
This fine quality table consists of a black leather tooled revolving top with outer banding of mahogany and boxwood stringing leading down to a moulded edge of mahogany and boxwood stringing.
This leads down to eight mahogany frieze drawers with boxwood stringing decoration, all oak lined with recessed brass locks similar to Bramah, one drawer stamped with number 2326 - this number possibly being linked to a cabinetmaker or being an item from an inventory belonging to an important house.

This table is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
