Description
of sturdy construction consisting of a solid oval walnut top in a chevron pattern resting on a chrome quadruped base; a versatile piece that can be used as a desk, conference table or dining table; the wooden top has been professionally refinished and has a rich honey-colored patina; Florence Knoll (1917-2019) was an internationally renowned American architect, designer and entrepreneur who has been credited with bringing modernist design to office and residential interiors. Knoll Associates was a leader in the field of furniture and interior design. She enlisted the talents of such architects as Eero Saarinen, Marcel Breuer, Pierre Jeanneret and Hans Bellman to design furniture for Knoll Associate
