Description
An exceptional quality Louis XVI style French ormolu-mounted mahogany and leather coffee center table, attributed to Francois Linke, Paris, circa 1880.
This is the best ormolu-mounted table we have had over the past 10 years. The bronze mounts are the best you can get. It simply doesn’t get better than this. We did not find any signature, but this is almost certainly done by Francois Linke.
Has two drawers and two slide outs. The lower center features a central gallery.
Measures: 27? high x 36? diameter.
Good condition overall, normal wear consistent with age and use. Some ormolu mounts with spots and stains. Doesn’t’ take away from the beauty and magnificence of this one of a kind table. -
