Neoclassical French 19th-20th C. Circular Marquetry Ormolu Table François Linke

  • Description
    Unsual Neoclassical mahogany and bronze Marquetey round side table in the style of François Link. The belt is decorated with finely chiseled bronze seashells. The darker columnar legs are trimmed with bronze which descend and are finished with magnificent gilt bronze lions paws. Neoclassical architecture is defined by grandeur, symmetry, simple geometric forms, columns (especially Doric), and classical motifs. This fine table measures 31.5"t x 25.5' in diameter.

    The top has minor wear with a few light spots to the finish and some minor bubbles to veneer-hard to notice-see photos. No missing ormolu -some minor chips to veneer near the feet.
