French, 1750s, Period Louis XV Walnut Console Table with Serpentine Front

Description
A French Louis XV period walnut console table from the mid 18th century, with cabriole legs. Born during the reign of king Louis XV, the "Beloved", this French walnut table features a nicely shaped top with serpentine front and molded edges, sitting above an apron, hand-carved with simple cartouches each presenting a slightly raised panel on three sides. This understated décor allows the curvy silhouette to shine beautifully. The table is raised on four charismatic cabriole legs. With its graceful lines and lovely walnut patina, this Louis XV period console table, circa 1750 will bring a touch of French elegance to any room, whether placed in a living room or foyer.
