French 19th Century Empire Console

Description
This French 19th Century bookmatched flame mahogany console has its original charcoal marble top that fits over the base. Column-form front legs support the top along with the console’s more restrained, finished linear rear legs. The front legs are dressed in decorative cast brass collars at their capitals and bases. The legs all conclude at the table’s plinth base or shelf. The whole is raised on ebonized feet. Polished with a French paste wax and ready for your immediate use.
