French 19th Century Louis XVI Style Gilt Guéridon
-
Description
Dimensions: 30 5/16” H x 21 ⅝” W x 21 ⅝” D
A sparkling Louis XVI style giltwood gueridon table from 19th century France. The inset white marble top is streaked with dramatic bronze and taupe veining, blending with the evidence of a professionally repaired and filled crack. The gold gilt and painted table frame is artfully carved with a ribbon twist motif around the apron and square rosettes above the legs. Four fluted legs taper elegantly down to a X-stretcher just above the feet, from which a urn finial rises to display a botanical arrangement inside. Make sure to view the detailed images for a closer look. -
