French 19th Century Mahogany Side Table with Drawer
-
Description
A fantastic mahogany side table, made early in the 19th century in France. The impressive white marble top is quite thick (1 ⅝”) with a low, beveled edge and features expressive gray veining throughout. Within the apron is a shallow drawer, 27 ⅝” wide, that opens with a hand-forged iron ring pull. The turned, bobbin-shaped legs in dark espresso patina are muscular and proportional to the overall scale of the table. View the detailed images.
