French 19th Century Restoration-Style Walnut Bedside Table

Furniture does not have to be ornately carved or embellished to be beautiful. This exceptional square, 19th century walnut bedside table embodies that sentiment entirely. Made circa 1880 in France, the table was done in the Restoration style. The top is made of beautifully burl walnut and is set atop an apron that houses a single drawer. Ideal for storing bedside items, the drawer can be accessed with a pull of its small, brass knob. The top is lifted by four slender, baluster-form, turned column legs. They are joined by a finished undertier shelf. The table is lifted on wood ball feet.
