A spectacular iron console table from France, circa 1920, featuring a tactile, dark slate top (1 ⅜” thick) matching the sense of industrial strength of the base. The architectural iron & steel frame is composed of two slender legs with pierced detail, reinforced by a square stretcher rod hovering just above the floor. An elegant solution as a console table, center table, or narrow dining table on a covered patio for effortless al fresco meals. We believe this to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
