French vintage midcentury Empire-style center table, a silhouette revived by the famous Maison Jansen, streamlining it for modern tastes and homes. The top is a heavy disc of blush marble with delicate veining, carved to a low lip around the circumference. Note it is removable for transportation. The frame of the table is ebonized to an opaque black, satin-smooth, which makes the decorative bronze caryatid busts topping the legs seem all the more dramatic. Squared, tapering legs naturally end in bronze paw feet on the floor in keeping with the French Empire taste for mythology. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition.
