Description
A provincial round vendange tilt top table with beautiful, richly-grained plank top and trestle supports, French circa 1870; Vendange tables are integral to French wine history. The tilt top function allows them to be stored in cellars and easily transported for wine testing. The vendange, wine harvest, begins in August and can finish as late as the end of October. Once months of hard work come to an end, it’s time to taste the wine and celebrate with friends and family.
