French Louis XVI-Style Painted Console Table

Description
This lovely Louis XVI-style cream-painted and parcel-gilt marble-top console table is from France, c.1880, and features a white marble top with delicate grey veining which rests on an apron trimmed with gilt acanthus leaves. The whole rests on round fluted and tapering legs ending in acanthus-carved feet, all with gilded accents.
