Poul H. Poulsen Gangsø Møbler Danish Tile-Top Dining Table in Teak, Signed
Offered for sale is a vintage Danish Modern dining table from Gangsø Møbler, circa 1960s. The table is a drop leaf in teak that is embellished with great hand-decorated tiles by Poul H. Poulsen. The tiles have wonderful Danish Modern patterns that are inset in the center of the table running lengthwise. There are matching tiles inset into the leaves and run widthwise. The tiles are signed by the artist.
Poul Poulsen was a Danish designer, painter, and ceramics artisan who worked extensively with Gangsø Møbler in Faarvang, Denmark, designing ceramic tiles.
Measurements with the leaves extended: 100" w x 36" d x 28.5" h
