Description
This is a good example of a classic George III Fold-Over Games Table. The table features a solid mahogany top and a beautifully figured mahogany skirt detailed with line inlay and an inlaid fluting surmounting the four line inlaid legs with spade feet. The table is in overall very good original condition. The table has acquired a beautiful honey tone with the exception of a small area on the top which did not received exposure. There is a small section at the bottom side front of the skirt that has a minor loss to the line inlay. This type of table is suited to many design requirements--even as a bedside table. We have listed a similar George III Demi Lune separately which could function as a near pair to this table.
****Please contact MJH Design Arts for very competitive shipping quotes to the South and East Coast. -
