Description
This dining table is of the earliest examples of furniture produced by George Nakashima, as he collaborated with Knoll only during the earliest part of his career in furniture. Pieces by Knoll were initially produced prior to Nakashima establishing himself within his own studio practice. Between the late 1940's and early 1950's, pieces designed by Nakashima were both being produced by Knoll in their factory and simultaneously produced by Nakashima in his studio. It still retains its original label underneath
