Description
This is a rare coffee table designed by Gilbert Rohde in the mid 1930's for Herman Miller. The design is very simple but very strong. The top is solid wood with a hand polished lacquer top. Gilbert Rohde was head of design at Herman Miller in the 1930's and took Herman Miller into a modern design firm instead of a traditional one.
