Hollywood Regency Grosfeld House Parcel Paint and Gilt Decorated Vanity or Desk
Grosfeld House parcel paint and gilt decorated vanity or desk with mirror. A fine one of a kind ribbon and tastle solid wood carved writing desk or ladies vanity. The tiered square base sitting on feet leading to a column-form pair of doors with large bows of clay under fine gilt decorated carvings. The Pedestals supporting a group of three drawers. The centre carved gilt decorated drawer flanked by a pair of demilune shaped corner drawers. The writing or make up top displaying its original oval shaped etched glass mirror framed in parcel paint and gilt decorated borders with fluted curved sides. There is simply too much to list on this fine once in a lifetime piece that is certain to light up any room in the home or office.
