Rare and important illuminated desk by Guglielmo Ulrich, in carved cherrywood, with gilt aluminum (Xantal) handles and supports, carved tapered legs and two floating banks of drawers. Produced by Jannace & Kovacs (cabinetmaker's) in 1947. Signed, dated and with cabinetmaker's label in fire brand to drawer interior as follows: [Ulrich, Jannace & Kovacs, Mobili d'Arte, Milano, 1947].
