Gustavian Louis XVI Style, White Painted Console Table, France, Marble, 1910
A Gustavian monumental console table or sideboard produced in the first quarter of the 20th century in Paris, France. This example features a finely refinished white/gray paint distressed finish, Louis XVI style floral mounts, a unique base stretcher having a large urn finial in the center, three pull out drawers with hand carved drawer pulls, and substantial black with white grain marble top.
