Description
Dimensions: 14 ½” H x 49 ⅝” W x 26” D
This sleek rectangular coffee table was produced by the legendary firm of Maison Jansen in the 1970s, part of a larger collected designed by Guy Lefèvre, reflecting a new gilded age of French design after the war built on the Moderne tradition with the glamour of Hollywood Regency. Two tiers of smoke glass trays are supported by a linear, steel frame in a (patinated) dark chrome finish with Greek Key geometry at the corners to be attractive and accessible from every side of one’s seating arrangement. These swathes of glass offer generous surface area–with full visibility–for display as well as to rest one’s coffee/cocktail. Sure to be a très chic focal point for any living room, a timeless style to suit a range of aesthetics from transitional to modern to more eclectic–ready to join your interior. Note the table has been gently cleaned, although multiple scratches remain in the glass and dark oxidation of the metal consistent with age and use. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition. -
