Description
This exceptional Mid-Century Danish Modern dining set, designed by Hans Olsen for Frem Røjle in the 1950s, showcases innovative craftsmanship and space-saving functionality. The teak and Afromosia (African teak) dining table features a clever built-in butterfly leaf extension, seamlessly expanding to accommodate additional guests. The set includes four matching chairs with sculpted frames that effortlessly tuck under the table for a compact, cohesive look.
Each piece has been expertly refinished, and the seats are newly upholstered in luxurious black Italian full-grain leather. A striking example of Danish ingenuity, this set is a timeless addition to any interior.
Hans Olsen's innovative dining sets were a breakthrough in space-conscious design, making them highly sought-after by collectors today. His compact, integrated chair-and-table concept revolutionized small-space living in the mid-century era.
