This Italian Carved Glass Top Coffee/Cocktail Table features luxurious 22kt gold leaf over wood, which is characteristic of high-end Hollywood Regency style furniture. The Rococo carvings give the table a highly decorative, almost sculptural quality, with intricate flourishes that were popular in both the Rococo and the later Hollywood Regency design movements. The glass top that rests inside the carved wooden frame allows the craftsmanship of the base to be admired without obstruction, making it both functional and a work of art.
