Library Table in the Style of Ico Parisi's Model AI 1009, Italy, 1950s

Description
Library table with a distinctive tapering base featuring characteristic sculptural supports, a rectangular top, and an inverted V-shaped cut-out in the center of the apron. The table is veneered in Macassar ebony and designed in the style of the Italian designer Ico Parisi, after Model AI 1009. A comparable model is illustrated in: Roberta Lietti, Ico Parisi. Design. Catalogo Ragionato 1936–1960, Milan, 2017, pp. 160–161. Model AI 1009 was produced in 1954 by Ditta Vittorio Bega for Altamira New York.
