Italian Low Table in Red Lacquered Wood, 1970s
-
Description
Large low table in red lacquered wood, with brass object tray.
The table comes from the furnishings of an Italian private residence built in the early 1970s. The table was handmade, made to measure, clearly inspired by the contemporary models of Willy Rizzo and Jean Claude Mahay. The surface of the table is in good condition: some spots with small dents are visible on the photographs. The tray for objects, on the other hand, was probably used to contain planters and therefore the material has not only undergone oxidation, but bears circular traces of the planters. -
