Description
This striking set of two nesting coffee tables in solid oak exemplifies Jacques Jarrige’s sculptural approach to furniture. Each table is hand-carved, with tops and legs shaped by an intuitive process that leaves no surface uniform. The edges are cut at varied angles, creating a faceted, irregular rhythm that catches the light and animates the wood’s natural grain.
The lines of the tables seem to extend beyond their physical boundaries, as if drawing in space—an effect enhanced by the asymmetrical placement of the legs, which lend the forms an almost anthropomorphic sense of motion and balance. The result is a composition that feels alive and evolving, grounded yet dynamic.
Highly versatile, the tables can be nested together for visual impact or separated to function individually—placed in front of a pair of facing sofas or used independently within a larger seating arrangement. Their understated elegance and sculptural character make them equally at home in minimalist or richly layered interiors.
Dimensions:
– Larger table: 85 x 30 x 13.5 in. (H)
– Smaller table: 68 x 25 x 13.5 in. (H)
Custom sizes and finishes are available upon request, allowing the Nazca tables to be tailored to a specific space or aesthetic. -
