Side table "Leda"

Price Upon Request
  • Description
Inspired by the sinuous lines of his iconic Leda floor lamp, Jacques Jarrige created this side table as a continuation of his exploration of movement and space. Hand-carved in black stained ash, the piece embodies Jarrige’s signature approach to sculpture—where form emerges through subtraction, and negative space becomes as vital as the material itself.

With each gesture, Jarrige removes mass to reveal a dynamic interplay between solid and void. The table’s rhythmic contours invite the eye to travel around and through it, highlighting the fluid relationship between object and environment. As with much of his work, the emphasis is not only on the form itself, but on the space it activates—the way it breathes within a room.

Both functional and sculptural, this piece stands as a powerful expression of Jarrige’s ongoing dialogue with material, movement, and presence.
