Japanese lacquer Footed Trays, Set of Three

$ 975
  • Description
    This is a wonderful collection of 6 mid-20th century Japanese Lacquer Trays. There is one pair of oxblood red with highlights; one pair of matched oil spot trays and one near pair of oil spot lacquer trays. All of the trays are in good overall condition with minor anticipated chips and patina to the edges. One of the cinnabar lacquer trays has a minor hairline to the tray, but it is in solid condition. We are selling the trays in pairs/$700 per matched pair or in stacks of three (great drinks table height) for $975/set of 3. The stacks of three would include two oil spot lacquer trays and one cinnabar tray, as shown in the photos. Vintage lacquer trays in this condition are uncommon as they are utilitarian objects and were subject to more extensive use. These trays would incorporate well into a mid-century, minimalist interior, as well as a traditional setting. Please contact us for additional photos and information.
