Pair of French Hand Hammered Wrought Iron Side Tables in the style of Giacometti
-
Description
Exquisite and exotic pair of French Hand Hammered Wrought Iron Side Tables in the style of Alberto and Diego Giacometti for the designer and retailer, Jean-Michel Frank The pieces reflect both modern and ancient Etruscan sensibilities, yet maintain a delicate composure. Each piece is deeply hammered allowing the forceful beauty of the bronzed iron to prevail. The legs are set in a tripod form, yet each is shaped and carved slightly different than the other. The tops are not intended to match, rather to compliment each other. One is square; the other is oval, thus creating a dynamic poetry of forms. The table with square top is H: 23.5 x 10.25 x 10.25. Custom pieces are available.
