Description
Jean Prouvé Guéridon Bas coffee table in walnut for Vitra. Showroom model in like new condition. Executed in solid American walnut.
Designed in 1944, the Guéridon Bas is an early masterpiece by the French designer and engineer Jean Prouvé. Due to the wartime scarcity of metal, the guéridon bas was constructed almost entirely of solid wood components, giving it a sense of ease and refinement, brilliantly counterpointing the technical coolness of its design. The guéridon bas is comprised of a sturdy solid walnut top positioned on three solid feet. The elements are connected to each other by means of a folded sheet metal construction.
Other wood varieties and finishes also available to order with a lead time. Kindly inquire for more information. -
