A Fine Regency Writing Table Attributed to John McLean

$ 34,000
  • Description
    A very fine writing table in rosewood with boxwood line inlay with a gilt tooled black leather writing surface, extensively applied with finely cast and chased gilt brass decoration, on gilt lions paw casters and with a gilt gallery.

    The superb quality of the mounts and the cedar linings to the two drawer strongly point to an attribution to John McLean (active 1770-1825).
