Description
Iconic sculpted walnut and brass biomorphic cocktail/coffee table (model 1759) designed by Robsjohn-Gibbings for Widdicomb (1950, USA). Free-form, organic design reminiscent of a cloud.
Walnut has been refinished and brass legs have been newly polished. Only minor wear remains (namely, a couple of very insignificant surface scuffs along with light wear to the brass).
Retains the "Widdicomb" manufacturer's label, medallion and stencil brand "5/52," indicating an early production.
Measures: H 16.5" x W 54" x D 25.25" (depth measured on a diagonal in the same orientation is 46.5"). -
