Description
JMF “C” CONSOLE. Two-tone “Tortoise” Goatskin Parchment. Freeform inlay – Gloss Polyester Lacquer sealed
The JMF “C” Goatskin Parchment Console was inspired by JEAN MICHEL FRANK, a French interior and furniture designer. This unit is believed to be the first example of this style made and was exhibited in the newly opened 20,000 square foot showroom on east 61 st street in NYC in 1980.
The slight incurve to the front edges, the softening of the corners and the blending of the “C” uprights into the top and base exhibit the subtle detailing that is emblematic of his work. this piece is marked with Karl Springer signature.
We can produce this design to specification in our fourteen Goatskin
Parchment colorways. This item can be viewed at our offices in Stamford Ct. -
