Description
A glamorous dining table designed and retailed by Karl Springer, circa 1980s. The iconic shape features a beveled horse track-shape top with rounded corners is supported by two demilune pedestal bases. The model was popular in Karl Springer's design repertoire and the surface was covered with either luxuriant lacquered goatskin or in this case, tessellated stone mosaics with brass bands accent inlays. Simple form that showcases the luxury material and superb craftsmanship. Labeled with a metal tag "Karl Springer Handmade in the Philippines" as well as a paper sticker "KS0038".
A great piece with substantial presence, it is very heavy. It can also be used as a bespoken executive desk in the middle of the office. The top is attached to the bases with screws and can be taken off for transportation. -
