The Vela Coffee Table captures the fluidity of fabric in a sculptural form, translating the softness of draped material into the permanence and weight of cast bronze.
Its sweeping contours and deep folds create a sense of movement held in suspension, as though the surface has been caught in a single moment before settling. The form shifts continuously depending on the angle from which it is viewed, revealing new lines, reflections, and shadows.
Cast in bronze and polished by hand to a mirror finish, Vela transforms light into part of the piece itself. Highlights move across its surface while darker recesses emphasize the depth and complexity of its sculpted folds.
Both functional and sculptural, the Vela Coffee Table exists between furniture and art, bringing the visual softness of flowing fabric into a material designed to endure for generations.
