Presenting a beautiful large English Regency tilt-top center table.
Really nice early 19th century Regency period large tilt-top center or breakfast table.
The top has been ebonized and the base is rosewood with gilded gold leaf edging and gilt highlights on the base.
The table is one of the larger of its type and makes a glorious center-piece for a large hallway or atrium.
British circa 1810.
Beautiful detail to the central base column, feet (3). On original casters.
Original mechanism and works perfectly.
Provenance: Bought at Auction in Ireland.
Dimensions: Top Down: 28.5 inches tall with a diameter of 51.5 inches
Top Up: 60.75 inches tall, with the same diameter, the tripod base is 33 inches deep
Condition: Good condition. The top has been refinished or ebonized. It has recently been re-gilted using 24kt gold leaf. Missing a piece of molding on the base above one foot. Tilting mechanism works perfectly.
