Logniture, Walnut Solid Wood Sculptural Side Table, Original Contemporary Design
-
Description
This sculptural side table is a one-of-a-kind piece of functional art, carved entirely by hand from a single hardwood log. Its form rises from a wide, grounded base that narrows gracefully before flaring again at the top, creating a fluid, hourglass-like silhouette that feels both natural and intentional.
The surface reveals rich tonal variations in the wood, with subtle spalting, knots, and natural fissures that testify to its organic origin. The top retains the tree’s growth rings and radial cracks, grounding the sculptural shape in its material history.
Crafted with chainsaws, carving tools, and hand-finishing, the table embodies a process rooted in raw material and direct craftsmanship. Smooth, tactile surfaces invite touch, while imperfections are preserved as part of the design’s authenticity.
Equally suited as a side table, pedestal, or sculptural accent, this piece brings warmth and presence to interiors that embrace elemental design. It works seamlessly in wabi-sabi, Japandi, rustic modern, or contemporary spaces, offering both utility and artistic character.
Finished with natural oils and waxes to nourish and protect the wood while preserving its depth and texture. Designed and made in Europe by Logniture, a studio dedicated to transforming raw timber into expressive, heirloom-grade furniture.

Message from Seller:
We do not cut down, we do not destroy, but seek out downed tree limbs toppled by fierce wind storms or driftwood from the local creek. But, in that moment of discovery all it takes is a tiny spark in the artist's eye and in his vision the piece becomes what it was always meant to be. P: +38.595.396.1045 E: logniture@gmail.com
