Description
NOTE: This piece is part of ongoing series. Each piece is unique on its own. While they are all based on the same design model, they will slightly differ in wood grain, tool marks and natural cracks.
This striking side table or stool is a one-of-a-kind functional sculpture, carved from a single piece of solid hardwood to ensure absolute material integrity and a permanent character. Its design features a heavy, grounded form that emphasizes the raw volume and natural weight of the timber, transforming a dense block into a refined architectural statement.
The entire piece is treated with a deep ebonized finish, giving the wood a rich, matte black tone that unifies its complex, hand-worked geometry. This finish beautifully accentuates the handcrafted character, highlighting a carved surface with distinct tool marks while allowing natural fissures, growth rings, and the inherent grain of the timber to remain visible. The flat top surface provides a stable area for daily utility as a table or a firm, substantial seat.
Built for structural permanence, the robust base maintains a sense of primitive, grounded stability. Its bold profile and dark, textured elegance make it an ideal focal point for minimalist, industrial, or avant-garde interiors that appreciate raw craftsmanship and the quiet beauty of natural materials.
Designed and made in Europe by Logniture, a studio dedicated to transforming raw timber into expressive, heirloom-grade furniture.

Message from Seller:
We do not cut down, we do not destroy, but seek out downed tree limbs toppled by fierce wind storms or driftwood from the local creek. But, in that moment of discovery all it takes is a tiny spark in the artist's eye and in his vision the piece becomes what it was always meant to be. P: +38.595.396.1045 E: logniture@gmail.com
