Description
This table is absolutely stunning! A mushroom table, hand crafted by pop artist Louis Durot. This post modern piece of art came from the personal collection of Gisele Person who was his former sales and Marketing director and can be seen in his YouTube video Louis Durot.. Part 3, Modern art at the 1:30 mark as part of his exhibition in the top right corner.
Louis Durot's pieces have sharply increased in popularity in recent years-- being currently styled by Kelly Wearstler and other top interior designers. A quick search online will yield a treasure trove of these pieces being used in a number of absolutely stunning contemporary environments.
This gorgeous centre table would look incredible in a modern entryway, reception, or lobby area as a fun statement piece. The top of the table features a sunburst type pattern. This fun table would look great in any mid century modern, or post modern type environment and has a Memphis Milano almost type vibe. This table is currently in our entryway of the gallery with a Karl Springer accent mirror and flanked by a Vladimir Kagan sofa, and not only does it hold its own, it makes a bold, fresh statement! A true collector's piece! -
