Louis XVI Style, Hollywood Regency, Bronze, Green Marble, Rams Head Gueridons, France, 20th c.

A fine pair of French 20th century Louis XVI style ormolu and malachite-style marble guéridons. Each example features a circular marble top set within a beaded ormolu gallery, supported by scrolled legs with rams’ head mounts and hoof feet. The legs are joined by a concave-sided triangular stretcher. An elegant and high-quality example of Louis XVI inspired design.
