Louis XVI Style, Writing Desk, Bookmatched Walnut, Bronze, France, 1920s

A fully refinished Louis XVI style writing desk from early 20th century France. This example features a wonderful bookmatched top, sides, drawer fronts, and back with polished ormolu bronze mounts throughout. The back side is finished with faux drawers and matching hardware, allowing it to be placed beautifully in the center of a room.
