Description
A Sublime French Mid-Century Modern 3 Part Cocktail Table, in Gilt Bronze and Brass Faux Bamboo / Twig, with its Original Black Opaline Glass Inset Top by the renowned creator, Maison Bagues, Paris. circa 1950-1970. This rare model in a twig version of faux bamboo is composed of three parts that can separate and be used according to size and application as needed. This allows the size to expand and be extraordinarily functional. The aura and aesthetics of the table is exquisite. The form of the bamboo / twig is delicate, naturalistic and mysterious and the natural patina is soft and inviting. The original black opaline glass top is inset into the bronze frame providing delicate contrast and a seem-less form. in sum, an extraordinary French creation of the highest quality materials, design, form and function. Dimensions: H 16 x 49 x 19.25
