Mid-century French coffee table by Maison Jansen, circa 1940s, featuring a leather inset top within a dark lacquered frame with gilt decoration. The table stands on fluted tapering legs with gilt accents, reflecting Jansen’s neoclassical influence.
Leather top shows natural wear consistent with age. Underside stamped “Jansen.”
Condition:
Good vintage condition with visible wear to leather top, including scuffs and rubbing. Painted and gilt surfaces show edge wear and minor nicks. Structurally sound.
