Description
This dining room table was created for the Office of IBM in Montepelier, France. Marc Held created the interiors and many pieces of the furniture for this building. This table was used in the lunch room of the office building. He designed a unique system to raise the chairs off the floor for cleaning with out having to place them on top of the table. Each chair is fitted with a ring below the seat which slides into the slot of the table apron. The table is made with a Beech frame and steel supports. A melamine surface is used for the table top. It is in good condition.
The unique looking chairs are made of Spruce and Maple. The laminated layers have molded and create a stunning pattern with the wood design.
The frames of the chairs are very stylish. All Six chairs are in perfect condition and very solid.
