This lovely and materially dynamic Mid-Century Modernist Console table in Brass and Burled Carpathian Elm is created by the company Mastercraft and originates from the United States, Circa 1970. A beautiful example of balanced material choices, the finish of the antiqued brass frame and the color of the burled Carpathian elm (a rare lumber sourced from the Carpathian Range in Central Europe) combine to create a stunning and elegant impression. Featuring an open frame of rounded elements with ringed detailing and rectilinear elongated top, the piece has three inset drawers, two on either side with a one rounded brass pull each, and a wider central drawer with two pulls. The piece has excellent top surface area without overwhelming in its overall footprint, remaining versatile as well as elegant. Mastercraft was a company that developed and transformed manufacturing techniques in their field, creating beautiful and enduring pieces in unique materials that draw the eye and desire of avid collectors to this day. This piece will style beautifully in a wide array of interiors, from Mid-Century Modern to Contemporary design. In mint restored condition.
