Description
This exceptional pair of Art Deco Skyscraper-style flush mount chandeliers reflects the iconic geometric elegance of the era. Originating from the United States circa 1935, each fixture features a molded milk glass shade with stepped detailing that evokes the grandeur of towering skyline silhouettes. The milk glass diffuses light with a softened glow, perfectly balancing function with design.
Polished aluminum fittings enhance the modernist appeal, providing a sleek metallic contrast to the milky white glass. The fittings showcase grooved detailing and refined proportions, with geometric flourishes gracefully overlapping the top center of each shade. These elements exemplify the harmony between the ornamental and the architectural that defines Art Deco design.
Rewired to modern American standards, each fixture accommodates one Edison base bulb, offering up to 100 watts of light. With their timeless aesthetic and impeccable craftsmanship, these chandeliers seamlessly complement a range of interiors, including Art Deco, contemporary, and minimalist spaces. Both are in excellent vintage condition, ready to elevate any setting.
