Mid-Century Modernist Mosaic Cocktail Table Wrapped in Brass with Ebonized Legs

This beautiful Mid Century Modern cocktail table was realized in France circa 1960. It features a vaguely triangular amorphic form with rounded corners. The perimeter of the piece is wrapped in brass while the interior of the top offers a fantastic tapestry of white and grisaille tiles. The mosaic is roughly divided into four quadrants with off white rectangular tiles occupying two and a light gray occupying the others with stardust like flurries of square charcoal tiles dancing around the border. The table sits on three cylindrical ebonized legs. With its clean modernist lines and monochromatic color palate, this piece is as versatile as it is aesthetically compelling, blending perfectly with any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. The top is in excellent vintage condition, and the legs have been restored to mint condition.
