Description
French Modernist Art Deco side table by DOMI, with macassar ebony soleil pattern top and mahogany legs with bronze mounts. Documented Mobilier & Decoration, 1934. 27.5” diameter x 22” high. Restored and refinished.
Model used in the residence of M. Champetier de Ribes, French jurist and politician. He served as the French government’s representative at the Nuremberg Trials. He was elected President of the Council (Senate) of the Republic and he died in office in 1947. -
